First read the revised and 1.highlight awkward areas 2.check it has a clear goal ,ideas expressed concisely and directly ,writing sound authentic and honest 3.examine the sentence for clarity, conciseness and variety 4.avoid redundancy 5.watch for repetition 6. look for general noun,verbs and modifiers 7. avoid highly technical terms 8. use fair language. Use five basic ideas how sentences can combine to effective sentences.
Proofreading is check your revised writing for spelling, mechanics, usage, grammar, and form.
